CLIENT PROBLEM

“Too much wood, upper cabinets collecting dust, and layers of paints. We want to update this to a modern version of some of our favorite destinations.”

From Olive Garden breadsticks to Portuguese petiscos.

This client was ready to move beyond a dated, builder-grade kitchen we dubbed “Olive Garden-core” and into a space that felt personal, elevated, and connected to their life.

By reworking the existing cabinetry and layering in intentional color, pattern, and materiality, the design balances warm, collected neutrals with meaningful moments of expression.

12” cabinets were placed in the empty spaces above the uppers, the island was expanded with extra cabinetry, and a kitchen desk into a floor to ceiling appliance garage.
